The orange building on Southwest side of Main Street is the place to go for local knowledge, great gear and an excellent cup of joe. We carry a curated selection of hiking, backpacking, camping, canyoneering and travel gear, clothing and footwear. We also stock local and regional guide books and maps (including waterproof customized topo maps of the area). We offer local and handmade jewelry, gifts, prints, notecards and souvenirs.
Escalante Home Center

Escalante Home Center is a locally owned and operated Do It Best hardware store with an inventory including building materials, toys, nursery plants, feed, tools, a paint center, and everything in between. If you can't find it here they can order your item to arrive within a few days.

They have a great selection of USGS topo maps, guidebooks, camping supplies, clothing, shoes, backpacks and they have the only state wine and liquor store for 60 miles. Not to mention excellent pizza, salads and sandwiches.
